    Clearcast Clearance Consultants

    Clearcast is the UK company responsible for the pre-transmission examination and clearance of television advertisements. As part of their licensing agreements with Ofcom, broadcasters are required to clear advertising before it is broadcast and advertisements transmitted on UK terrestrial and satellite channels should be submitted to Clearcast for approval. Clearcast is owned and funded by seven commercial broadcasters all of whom are represented on Clearcast’s board. Other broadcasters using Clearcast for clearance pay individually for Clearcast’s services.

    Production2020 offer a full Clearance Service including Script Clearance, Final Production Clearance and Clock Numbering. We will work on your behalf liaising with Clearcast to get your infomercial cleared and on the air.

    Clearcast Clearance "The Process"

    Production2020 will work with you to develop the script prior to filming. This is submitted to Clearcast. Once the script is approved we then storyboard the infomercial or ad. Then it's shot in our state of the art studio. Once edited ithe finished production and script are resubmitted to Clearcast for final approval. This allows it to be shown on any satellite channel.
